The student's preparations are well under-way for the event - science projects on everything from shear-stress forces to tsunamis and wave dynamics to chlorophyll properties are in progress. Speeches are being written. Our basketball teams are hard at work in their regular practices and conditioning sessions. And a little marketing campaign is, well, developing. In addition to this we are working to beautify and settle our campus even more in preparation for our Open House visitors - we are clearing neat rock pathways ("not a rock out of place by the 25th!" is the goal), clearing shrubs, continually planting trees and vines.
If this description doesn't make you want to book your tickets to Somaliland I don't know what will.
