M served as a Biology Teacher for the 2010-11 school year at Abaarso Tech, a college-preparatory boarding school in Somaliland, East Africa. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from The University of Chicago, and has professional interests in systems biology, sustainable engineering, and aviation.
